Ministries

Sunday Worship Service Time: 11:00 AM

Bible Readings for Sundays are based on the Revised Common Lectionary.  Most United Methodist Churches use this three-year reading resource to cover all Scriptures.  We encourage you to bring your Bible or you may use our Pew Bible.   For The Lectionary Scripture Readings click here

WORSHIP SERVICES are informal and meaningful experiences for everyone--come as you are!  We welcome people of all ages and stages of life--our congregation is multi-generational which enhances our life together. We offer a children's sermon each week, and we have many talented musicians who lend their gifts in worship.  If you desire to participate--just let us know!  We look forward to worshiping our Great God with you!

After Worship, You'll always find a cup of coffee and an engaging conversation in our fellowship hall each Sunday.

First Sundays of each Month we share Communion during the Worship Service (All are persons regardless of affiliation are welcome to share as we share The Lord's Table!)

On Third Sundays you are invited to share a meal with us at our famous Liberty Pot Luck Feast (Best Food East of I-65) immediately after morning worship. (You don't need to bring a dish - there's always enough to enjoy)

Children's and Youth:

Our YOUTH MINISTRY is headed up by Courtney AldrichLiberty United Methodist Church has a passion for making an impact on the spiritual development of children and youth. Every day, we see God working in the lives of these children and youth, and we are blessed to be able to come alongside to help in creating in them a love and longing for Christ.

Children's Ministry at a Glance

Children's Church: Our Sunday morning children's ministry! All children are welcome during the 11:00 AM church service to join us as we learn about God's word through drama and storytelling, crafts, and games.

Vacation Bible School: Check out the video from 2011's summer Vacation Bible School! We certainly did SHAKE it UP, learning and celebrating God's extravagant love for us with 30 children, 7 youth volunteers, and 9 adult leaders!

Youth Ministry at a Glance

Sunday Evening Youth: Our youth group meets every Sunday evening at 5:30 for a snack supper and program. This is a time for enjoying fellowship with one another, growing in our faith through study and discussion, and figuring out what it means to be radical disciples.

Service: At the heart of our community of faith is sharing Christ's love with others. Throughout the year, our youth group is intentional about offering their time and gifts to bless others. They do this through local service projects, outreach to members in our congregation, and week-long mission trips.

Covenant Groups: These are relational, same-gender small groups that are either peer or adult led. Covenant groups meet on a regular basis to foster fellowship, accountability, and discipleship. These groups are a powerful way God can move in our students' lives.
